I've just finished reading The Grapes of Wrath.. one of your past recommendations Mike. As the old saying goes Hard times create strong men, Strong men create good times, Good times create Weak men, Weak men create Hard times.
I think we know where we are now in this cycle. Most Brits of a certain age will remember the phrase, Dig for Victory.. well I think that victory has become alot more personal to the individual & their families right now. As we know the less reliant we are on big Gov, big Corp & big Pharma the better off we will be. Good luck & God bless 🙏
Thanks Nick, I am going to reread it myself. But yes, knowing where we are in the cycle is key for making educated guesses on what we are likely to face. It enables you to take action and progress with your life irrespective of the grand theater taking place above us, but it does require a person to put on the big boy/girl pants. Comfortable narratives are great, until reality arrives and you're caught completely and utterly off guard. Let that not be us!
Fantastic and succinct article.
