Hey Laurielue, to add to Nicks response I will give a few general tips. If buying in person, you want to look for a well established company with a great reputation. Larger cities should have some good options. If you are seeking to buy online it is much the same, look for big established companies with a long track record, read the online reviews as always and look for how they respond to people. Before a large purchase, try some smaller ones. Call them up also and see how they treat you over the phone. They should answer politely and give you as much time as you need to go through your questions. All of these things will make it very likely you have a great experience and once you have a place you trust, it should be plain sailing.
Mike, how does someone go about choosing a company to buy gold and silver from? There are so many. Are they all the same?

Thanks for the tips Mike. Very good!
It depends where you are.
Reputable companies from UK are Sharps Pixley, Gold Investments Ltd (mention maneco64), Bullion by Post (bit pricier but reliable)
From States GoldSilver.com (Mike Maloney)
Miles Franklin (Andy Schectman) or SD Bullion (James Anderson.)
Thank you Nick!
