A very good listen. My wife and I have been the only ones of our group of friends, some siblings etc who have shyed away from remortgaging for extentions & loft conversions.. we've only owned oldish cars outright.. we've overpayed mortgage instead of increasing it.. had the majority of holidays in the UK.. years ago I learnt about the etimolgy of mortgage (Death Pledge) and that debt is slavery. We're not well off in the slightest but can weather any storm for sure. I'm looking forward to Part 2 Mike.. also looking forward to reading the book.
Another book worth reading is The great depression. A Diary. By Benjamin Roth. Probably some similarities with what's to come.
