I have been to the Potosi silver mines in Bolivia (1989), (terrible conditions historically, not sure about now), and have been to mining operations in the Australian outback. Mining is freaking hard, difficult, dangerous work. Risky exploraion. Using real world resources, energy, labor, sweat, to extract from mother earth, real resources the world needs, and gold and silver, nature's money.
